The handy and light probe Drop Sonde supports the preparation of parachuting missions if most accuracy of targeting is required.

After ejection from the aerial vehicle the probe records autonomous critical data of the atmosphere and transmits the data in real time to the operator.

Atmospheric data and GPS position data are acquired simultaneously.

The operator receives an accurate profile of local atmospheric conditions to validate the weather forecast and to support the mission planning.

Drop Sonde comes with the following sensors:

• temperature
• barometric air pressure
• relative humidity (optional)
• GPS at acquisition rate of 4 Hz
